Graduate Education Research Program Committee, Chinese Society of Academic Degrees and Graduate Education

Established in 2017, the Graduate Education Research Program Committee is responsible to the Chinese Society of Academic Degrees and Graduate Education. The Committee’s purposes are to: implement educational guidelines of the Communist Party of China and Chinese government; bring together researchers of graduate education across China; facilitate communication and exchange among researchers of graduate education; deepen research on basic theories and major practical topics of graduate education; accelerate discipline development in graduate education; provide theoretical and decision-making support for scientific development of graduate education in China; and train talented individuals to develop graduate education.

Teaching Guidance Committee for Pedagogy Programs Secretariat, Ministry of Education

The Teaching Guidance Committee for Pedagogy Programs was established at Tsinghua University in 2013 by the Ministry of Education. The Committee promotes the development of pedagogy programs in Chinese universities and improves quality of training for undergraduates specializing in pedagogy. For the period 2018-2022 the Committee is drawing on an elite group of experts to comprehensively revitalize undergraduate education in institutions of higher learning by promoting educational capability in research, consultation, guidance, evaluation, and service.

Tsinghua University Association of Higher Education Secretariat

Tsinghua University Association of Higher Education (THAHE) is a public academic body for all university faculty, enabled by Tsinghua University and the China Association of Higher Education. Oriented to higher education practice, the Association carries out scientific research in education, and enhances scientific and democratic decision-making processes in higher education. The Association advances reform and development within Tsinghua University, and promotes national higher education scientific research at other universities.

Tsinghua University Education Research Society Secretariat

The Tsinghua University Education Research Society undertakes scientific research on education with guidance from Tsinghua’s leaders. Applying the principles of Marxism, Leninism and Mao Zedong thought, the Society links theory with practice, conducting scientific research on education according to socialist development needs. The Society contributes to socialist education with Chinese characteristics by: applying education experiences of China and Tsinghua; drawing on practices in Chinese and international education; exploring relevant education laws; and improving university teaching, scientific research, and management.

University Culture Research Branch Secretariat, China Association of Higher Education

Established in 2017, the University Culture Research Branch of the China Association of Higher Education draws on international theory and experience. It has developed socialist theories of university culture with Chinese characteristics. The Association is a think tank for university culture research and cultivation in China. Its scope entails research, seminars, consultation and training services, international academic exchanges, website construction, editing and publishing academic journals and books, exchange of research achievements and experiences in cultivating university culture, and improving theory and practices influencing university culture in China.
