Introduction
LIU Huiqin, research professor and doctoral supervisor of School of Education at Tsinghua University, Party Secretary of Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School, director of Strategy Research Base for Graduate Education of Tsinghua University, director of Center for Engineering Education of Tsinghua University.
LIU Huiqin, deputy director of Academic Committee of the Association of Chinese Graduate Education, director of Professional Committee of China Graduate Education, vice chairman of Higher Education Management Branch in Chinese Association of Higher Education, member of the National Evaluation Committee for the Establishment of higher college and university, deputy director of editorial Committee of Journal of Graduate Education.
LIU Huiqin, awarded a bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering, Master degree of Education, and Doctor degree of Management in Tsinghua University and was the visiting scholar at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Harvard University. Used to work in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Graduate School of Tsinghua University, served as the deputy dean of the Graduate School of Tsinghua University and Deputy Editor in Chief of the Editorial Board of Degree and Graduate Education.
Research fields include education policy and management, graduate education, engineering education, and future education and learning. More than 60 articles have been published in core journals and 5 books have been published. Won two national education and teaching achievement awards, such as, won the special prize of national education and teaching achievement in 2005 for "Innovation and Practice of Engineering Master Education Mechanism".

Research Fields
Higher education policy and management. Prof. LIU mainly carries out strategic planning and policy research on the demand for high-level talents for national strategic development and economic and social development, such as the "14th Five Year Plan" education reform and development strategy, the outline of the plan for building an education powerhouse (academic version), research on the coordinated construction of multiple entities in higher education powerhouse, and research on the progress and effectiveness of the "Double First Class" construction, providing policy consultation for the development of national education.
Graduate education. Prof. LIU mainly researches on talent selection, professional degree development, doctoral quality and discipline construction of graduate education. She had led the completion of "Professional Degree Development Plan 2020-2025", edited the "Annual Report on Graduate Education in China" 2018-2023 series, and participates in national policy consultation based on the research.
Engineering education. Prof. LIU mainly studies the cultivating of engineering talents at the graduate level and the cultivating model of typical engineering talents. She is the chief editor of "practice and innovation of Engineering postgraduate education". She puts forward policy suggestions on the establishment of professional degrees such as Engineering Doctor and Master of Engineering Management.
Future education and learning. The main goal is the free and comprehensive development of human beings, with the integration of humanities, science, and engineering as the research path, and the use of generative artificial intelligence and other technological methods to explore learning mechanisms, learning effectiveness, and future educational paradigm innovation.
