Introduction
LIU Huiqin, research professor and doctoral supervisor, director of Research Center for Graduate Education of Tsinghua University, director of Center for Engineering Education of Tsinghua University, executive director of Tsinghua China-Africa Leadership Development Institute.
LIU Huiqin, deputy director of Academic Committee of the Association of Chinese Graduate Education, director of Professional Committee of China Graduate Education, secretary-general of Higher Education Management Branch in Chinese Association of Higher Education, member of the National Evaluation Committee for the Establishment of higher college and university, deputy director of editorial Committee of Journal of Graduate Education.
LIU Huiqin, awarded a bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering, Master degree of Education, and Doctor degree of Management in Tsinghua University and was a visiting scholar at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Used to work in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and served as the deputy dean of the Graduate School of Tsinghua University.
Research fields include education economy and management, human resource development and management. Distinctive in higher education policy and leadership, graduate education, engineering education research, future education and learning. More than 60 articles have been published in core journals and 5 books have been published. Higher education policy and management. Prof. LIU mainly carries out strategic planning and Policy Research for the demand of economic and social development for high-level talents, such as "professional degree development plan 2020-2025", "the 14th five year plan education reform and development strategy" and "Innovation Performance Evaluation of University Team: Model and Empirical Research", so as to provide policy advice for national education development and organizational change.
Graduate education. Prof. LIU mainly researches on talent selection, professional degree development, doctoral quality and discipline construction of graduate education. She is the chief editor of "China Degree and Graduate Education Development Report 2018", and participates in national policy consultation based on the research.
Engineering education. Prof. LIU mainly studies the cultivating of engineering talents at the graduate level and the cultivating model of typical engineering talents. She is the chief editor of "practice and innovation of Engineering postgraduate education". She puts forward policy suggestions on the establishment of professional degrees such as Engineering Doctor and Master of Engineering Management.
Future education and learning. The main goal is the free and comprehensive development of human beings, with the integration of humanities, science, and engineering as the research path, exploring learning mechanisms, learning effectiveness, and future educational paradigms.
