
WANG Chuanyi
Dr Wang Chuanyi serves as Deputy Director of the Ministry of Education–Tsinghua University Research Center for Education Strategic and National Planning, Deputy Director of the Research Institute for Graduate Education Strategy, Tsinghua University, Director of the Division of Education Policy and Management. He leads several key projects as Chief Expert for the National Social Science Foundation (Education) and for the National Development and Reform Commission’s major commissioned projects in Social Fields. He also serves as Vice Chairman of the Education Policy and Planning Association under the Chinese Society of Educational Development Strategy, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Academic Committee of the Association of Chinese Graduate Education

Academic Achievements
As of September 2022, Chuanyi Wang has published over 100 papers in academic journals. His work includes more than 10 papers indexed by SCI/SSCI/AHCI and more than 80 papers indexed by CSSCI (including extended journals).
He has led more than 40 major projects, including National Social Science (Education) Key Projects, Major Commissioned Projects in the Social Field of the National Development and Reform Commission, Youth Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, Youth Projects of the Ministry of Education of the National Education Science Planning, Humanities and Social Science Projects of the Ministry of Education, and Commissioned Projects of the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Finance; as the Second Completer, he participated in two Major Research Projects of Philosophy and Social sciences of the Ministry of Education, “Research on the Structural Adjustment of Graduate Education in China” and “Research on the Reform of the Evaluation System of Universities under Double First-class Construction”; as a core member, he participated in providing research support for and the drafting of numerous major national policies for higher education.
